Holidays
Am having my semester break till 15th July. Many people would love to be in this position when you are young, outgoing and have no one sticking their neck into your life ensuring you are doing your work properly.
Well, I dont like it when its holidays. Especially since its the first break when I am not working at all. I feel bored and more importantly useless. I want to get over and done with my University and look for a real job. I want to get a payroll and be able to get my life rolling. I want to have money to shop, treat my friends out and yes I do owe someone money and I cant wait to clear my responsibility.
Well, today I met up with some RMIT Indian Club mates to plan the next event. We had a nice, HEAVY indian breakfast at Melbourne City (Aloo paratha, gobi paratha, shahi paneer and rice). It was too filling but awesome.
Next it was shopping time. We went to all kinds of places, from cheap items on sale to cardigans being sold for $250 (After 50% off). I liked it. I ended up buying a dictionary from Borders. Speaking of Borders, its sad that the branches around the world are closing down due to bankruptcy. I will miss that place. I cant think of the safest place to go for birthday shopping other than Borders. If you dont know what they like, spread the wisdom through books.
Finally I ended up in the library, sending emails to a couple of people, checking my Facebook and watched the remaining part of a movie, Modern Affair. I liked it but thought it was slow. For me to say something is slow means its reaaaaaalllyyy slow for a normal person.
Checking out for now.
