I am angry
Today I am rather upset and angry. Yet I dont understand why people moan over caste and religion issues. I mean, get a life. Why do others care of what religion I am or my friend or my boyfriend or for the matter my dog. By now we should all know we are answerable to God for our own deeds and not even our children's. Oh well, at least you got the gist of my anger.
Well, every time I talk to my mother, she brings up the issue of getting my husband-to-be converted. She says she loves me and thats why cares for whats going to happen to my life after death. I keep telling her that I dont believe in converting someone just because he loves me. Thats not right. I loved him for who he is, how is thinks, how is acts and how he presents himself. I chose him for the person he is today. I cant now force him to start believing in my faith because I do. Faith is something that comes from your heart. Something that you feel. If he ever feels this way, it is his wish to convert.
She talks about how society reacts to such marriages. Well I say, I dont give a shit to what society says. The society has never helped me or cared for me. It was my immediate family, my close friends and my partner. I only care for them and they should do the same. Society is only there to gossip, entertain themselves and please their needs.
I hope people in this new generation understand that deep within we are all humans. Whether we are muslims, christians, hindus or of any other religion. It doesnt matter. All that matters is that are we a good person or not.
Anyways folks, this was just my two-cent worth of advice. And then again all of us have our own opinions.

Just happen to come across your blog. I totally agree on the issue of not getting your partner to convert if his heart is not into it. By the way, may I know what's your religion and your fiance's?
