Schneider Electrics Christmas Party 2010
Dear Readers,
This weekend was lovely.
On friday, I met umang after work at 7pm. We went to the nearest Telstra Shop and I got him a new HTC Desire. He had been longing for a phone for many years. In fact, ever since I know him 4 years ago, he has never bought a mobile for himself. And as for me, I keep changing and give my old used phone. He deserved for being such an awesome person. It feels so good seeing how crazily in love he his with his new phone. A gift well thought for him.
Later that night we wet to a fancy Korean restaurant for dinner. Had lots of dishes. I was so stuffed that I couldnt finish my main course. We had soujo (Korean drink) which I have decided never to drink again. It tastes horrible.
This was followed by a cocktail at Crown plaza. And wonderful walk at yarra river.
On saturday, Saumil Shah (my best friend in Mebourne) came over. Its always good to see him. He used to be my housemate till Umang and I decided to live on our own. Later we went shopping and Umang and I got lots of clothes. In the night, We had his company dinner party. I had a lot of fun. Tried many rides in Luna park followed by meeting his colleagues. We won 3 awards. 1st Umang won best employee for the year, 2nd I won the second prize in the raffles draw and 3rd Umang won the best dress party. Of course he would have won. Took all the effort to shop for a suit and hat.
Sunday was very soothing. We had all the time to ourselves. We also went to buy a couple of DVDs. We didnt get to watch them yesterday as were busy chatting with our friends in Singapore. But hopefully might catch a movie today. Thats all for now folks.
