Good Luck Barack Obama

I am truly delighted to see Barack Obama win the election, but this is not the best time for a new president to step up for USA. All Bush's mess is now poured over Obama, and its going to take him more than a year to put things back to its place. The financial crisis has never been worse. We have a wilting economy leading to the Great Depression, the rate of unemployment is at 6.1 percent and in the coming year it is expected to rise to 7.5%. There are two massive wars namely Iraq's and Afghanistan's that involve majority of the USA's troops. Apart from all this, Obama has the pressure to deliver all the promises he made during his presidential campaign.

I guess the first thing Obama should do, as promised, is to wisely pullout the troops from Iraq. It should focus on recovering USA first rather than being liberal at this stage of time.

Obama is the first black president and the 44th president for the USA. He won the elections very smoothly, yet clearly there were a number of states in favour of John McCain. To name a few, there is Idaho, Utah, Arizona, Wyoming, South Dakota, Kansas, Oklahoma and Texas. There are bound to be people from these states that would rebel against Obama and create problems. So Obama should also work on giving them assurance that he was the best electoral candidate standing in the elections.

Furthermore, Obama being black may face racial riots. Government estimates say that by 2042 there will be more blacks then whites. Lets be practical, this is definitely not music to the ears of the whites. There are bound to be conflicts. We must also keep in mind that the racial tensions is not completely healed back from the Civil Rights Movements.

On the other hand, Senate Barack Obama being the president will also benefit the world. This is because Obama is known to have an approach far different than Ex-President George Bush. This is going to impact the involvement of the USA with different parts of the world (at least for not).

As for the financial stocks, I can not say much about it currently. However, infrastructure, solar and natural gas stocks have been perceived to escalate in Obama's presidency.

So all the best president. I hope to see you in good shape when I visit America.
